Skagen is a special place and has much to offer all year round. The extraordinary light you find here lifts spirits and awakens your senses. All the grains of sand on the 60 km of white, sandy beaches reflect the rays of the sun and sparkle like diamonds. Add this to the reflection of the special light from the pounding surf and you will experience that the skies really are open.

The harbour is the heart of Skagen, and one of the largest attractions. You can stroll along the quayside and have a look at the fishing boats or the impressive yachts anchored by the hundred in the harbour basin with the beautiful old fish ware-houses, "Bindesbøllhusene" in the background. You can visit the early morning fish auction and later enjoy a meal at one of the fish restaurants serving fresh fish bought at the auction.

A holiday area surrounded by beaches, dunes and stretches of heath, these encircled by the two seas Kattegat and Skagerrak, which meet out at Grenen. In Skagen you have many different options which include art, culture, culinary delicacies, entertainment and shopping.
