Rarely have people shown such a sense of appreciation of the Danish landscape as the Vikings, who chose Århus for their settlement. The city is beautifully situated in typical East Jutland countryside, in a green valley with beaches and woods within easy reach.


There is an energetic pulse to the vibrant city of Århus. With a student population of more than 40,000, Århus is Denmark's youngest city - and has its sights set firmly on the future. At the same time, however, we keep the past very much alive, with the oldest quarters being some of the most atmospheric, bustling and trendsetting in the city.
