FUHU
The impressive building, designed by architects Valdemar and Bernhard Ingemann, was inaugurated on January 11, 1902, under the name "Købmandsskole", (the Commercial School). The building was erected by The Danish Society for the Advancement of Business Education (FUHU) on the initiative of the then Chairman and benefactor Holger Petersen. During the following century, thousands of business students passed through its doors. Today, the building, with the conference centre, has been painstakingly renovated so that it is superbly equipped to continue its proud traditions for enhancing knowledge.
The conference centre comprises four very different rooms. The original Grand Hall and the Assembly Hall reflect the building's history over the past century. In addition, there are two new auditoria: the amphitheatre-shaped Auditorium 1 with state-of-the-art A/V equipment, including back projection for video/DVD, PowerPoint and electronic OHP and Auditorium 2 which is equipped for smaller conferences. Capactiy of up to 400 using all 4 auditoriums.
