The tour begins with a short sightseeing tour through the city to enjoy the highlights that cannot be seen from the boat such as Tivoli Gardens, the new Carlsberg Glyptotek, the Town Hall, Rosenborg Castle, and Christiansborg Castle. On Gammel Strand - formerly the Old Fish market - you will board your boat for a trip through the fascinating canals of Christianshavn and its picturesque old buildings. Visit the world-famous statue of The Little Mermaid and the Gefion Fountain -Copenhagen's famous fountain, set amidst the parkland of the Kastellet, depicting the Nordic legend of the Goddess Gefion. Next to Amalienborg Palace (exterior view only). This winter residence of the Royal Family consists of four equal-sized rococo palaces situated on one of the most beautiful squares in Europe. Pass Nyhavn, a colorful and lively waterfront district that was once the favorite haunt for sailors. Today the canal district is lined with 500-year-old gabled houses, pavement cafés and bars. Author Hans Christian Andersen lived at three different addresses along the Nyhavn canal. The harbour cruise is an ideal way of getting to know this lovely Scandinavian city.
